This certificate is crucial as it serves as the official record of the vehicle's status and details, required for its export and registration in another country.<\/p>\n\n<p>However, once issued, this Export Certificate cannot be re-issued if it is lost or misplaced (unless requested by the last recorded owner of the vehicle in Japan). The original document is unique and cannot be duplicated by MLIT. In such cases, the new vehicle owner or exporter must turn to authorized service providers (such as MKS) to retrieve the necessary documentation.<\/p>\n\n<p>These authorized service providers (MKS) can access the vehicle's official records, which include its history and all relevant details originally captured by MLIT. While they cannot provide a new Export Certificate, they can authenticate the original information contained in it.
